Sales & Admin Intern
Support the sales desk and the office behind it: handling customer enquiries, helping prepare quotations and keeping records accurate, while learning how a specialty raw materials supplier works.

What you would be doing
The work
Cerium supplies the raw materials behind personal care and home care products made across Kenya. This internship sits between the sales desk and the office behind it: helping customers get answers and quotations quickly, and keeping the records that make that possible accurate.
You would work alongside the sales team day to day, so you would see how an enquiry becomes an order from start to finish.
What you would be doing
- Responding to customer enquiries by phone, email and WhatsApp, and logging them
- Helping prepare quotations and following them up
- Keeping customer, enquiry and order records up to date
- Helping track orders from quotation through to delivery
- Filing and organising documents such as quotations, invoices and delivery notes
- General office administration as it comes up
What we are looking for
- A recent graduate or final-year student in business, sales and marketing, office administration, chemistry or a related field
- Clear written and spoken English, because much of this happens over email and WhatsApp
- Comfort with email, spreadsheets and word processing
- Organised, careful with detail, and willing to pick up whatever needs doing
An interest in science or manufacturing is an advantage rather than a requirement. What matters more is that you are reliable and keen to learn how the trade works.
